Rohde & Associates provided tenant improvement Construction Documents and interior design for the Uptown Athletic located at 135 West 64th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska. The 5,857 square foot tenant improvement required Rohde & Associates to modify the mechanical systems of the existing core and shell building to match the special needs of the hot yoga studio. The main studio space had to have its own isolated environment that had to be heated, humidified, & sealed from the adjacent spaces for maximum energy efficiency and the minimization of utility costs. Interior design was also part of the scope of work, select finishes and design details were provided to upgrade an otherwise ordinary space per the owner’s request.
