Rohde & Associates provided the design and construction administration services on this federally-funded project to improve the energy efficiency of the older portions of the facility. The first of these upgrades included complete roof replacement, with the addition of a substantial quantity of insulation. This was determined by the cost benefit analysis that was performed on this facility by our sub-contracted mechanical engineer. The exterior finish of T1-11 siding was replaced with a new exterior insulating finish system and the boilers were replaced with a more efficient system. Finally, additional maintenance roof access stairs, ladders, and walking pads were added to the roof.
