Rohde & Associates provided design services for the assessment and construction documents required to construct this eye surgery clinic. The clinic, and supporting infrastructure, was designed to meet or exceed hospital standards for air quality and cleanability. The scope of work was the renovation of the eastern half of the 3rd floor
(approximately 5,000 sq.ft.), of the Ann Stevens Building located at 235 East 8th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska. The renovation divided the existing suite into two sections. The southern portion was designed to be utilized as a Lasik eye care clinic, while the northern portion is being utilized as a certified Ambulatory Surgical Center. The facility is handicap accessible, and complies with current codes for construction.
