Rohde & Associates provided the design services to construct the privately funded 24,857 square foot insulated metal panel pre-manufactured metal building which contains a regulated constant temperature year round for the open layout processing and distribution areas, and maintains several different compartmentalized environments/ temperatures based on area use, separated by insulated vestibules with fast acting doors. The facility was constructed on a heated concrete slab on grade to protect on the reclamation tidelands extension below from freezing at the port in Unalaska, Alaska.
